Travelling and It’s benefits

Traveling is one of my interests and favorite activities. Many people wonder what they should do for a vacation and I realized a lot of people don’t seem to share my views about traveling. I believe it’s very important to see the world and different cultures. It lets us open our minds to new things and we get to experience life in exiting different ways.

Traveling gives us the opportunity to disconnect from our regular life. You get to forget your problems/issues for a few weeks, it can also help you figure things out that you would not have understood without the distance traveling can give you. We all have crazy schedules, work and a family to take care of, going away alone or with some friends can give you distance and perhaps even make you realize how important these people are for you. Like the saying says: we never know what we have until we lose it.

Another great benefit is the relaxation you get to do. It’s nice to live life to its fullest and enjoy a stress free time with yourself. Going on vacation lets us recharge our “batteries” by disconnecting us from our regular life. When we come back we feel invigorated and we are happy to be back in our day to day routine. It’s a very good stress remover that has a lot more to give than most people are willing to accept.

Traveling increases our knowledge and widens our perspective. To view new customs, different ways of living is fantastic for the mind. It gives us a new perspective about life and especially our life, it can help us change some of our habits or even create new ones. When I travel I usually make it a point to try new food, because food is a very essential part of every culture.  Discovering different values and ways to get by in life is really interesting. You also need to visit exotic new places and discover what this wonderful world has to offer.

New experiences increase our resourcefulness by living situations you would never encounter at home; this is great experience for you. So far in my life I have traveled to Germany, Austria, Italy (for a very short period of time) Iran, Spain and Mexico. Out of these places Spain and Austria have really stood out in my memory. I would really love to visit Portugal, Greece, Brazil, Uruguay and Alaska in future. One important lesson that I have learned on these travels is that to really get to know a culture, one should really visit small towns and local stores and resturants. Most people make the mistake of going to large metropolitan areas to find out about a culture, but I have noticed most of big cities are similar.  As I mentioned before Spain and Austria have really stood out in memory of travels, so in the next pages I will share some of the places that I visited and recommend for readers to see.

  1. I would love to travel and see the world because there is so much culture out there and the diversity that our world has to offer is breath taking. I have only gone to a few places in the United States and I have been to Cancun which was very nice and beautiful. The beaches were beautiful and the environment was very friendly and inviting.

I would like to travel more in the future the only problem is the funding for my trips so maybe when i get a little but more money in my pocket i will live out one of my dreams of traveling the world. It must have been pretty cool to have gone out to all those countries, the only thing that is really intimidating is not know the language i just feel like it is a little dangerous to not know the language of a country and visit it.

  2. I believe everyone should travel regularly. I know a lot of Americans who have never even left California in their entire life. People who gets to travel regularly are lucky because visiting other places and cultures is fun and it makes you more knowledgeable. You get to observe life from different perspectives.
Unfortunately, very few people get to travel regularly because of they have to work all the time and take care of their family. Even when you have free time, you might not have enough funds to travel to other countries. I visited a couple of neighbor countries in my homeland Africa. Outside Africa, I have only been in France and of course here, in the U.S.

  3. There are so many reasons why I love to travel. Most of all I like learning about new places, its people and their culture. Travelling is the best way for me to recharge; when I travel, I leave all my problems at home, I even turn of my cell phone and try to limit my internet usage. You know what, when I look at tourists I get the feeling that they are the happiest people on Earth!

Last time I traveled to Cancun, Mexico, in January. It was my first ever trip to Mexico and I liked it very much! Cancun is great and has one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen! The weather was perfect in January! We were swimming, scuba diving and went to pyramids. It was a lot of fun!

  4. Use Blank Alt Text Only for Icons and Bullets

if you use icons on your website or article pages, its okay to only avoid alt text for icons. This is alright because we do not necessarily search for icons via image searches. They don’t really signify anything and are simply a description. It may be tempting to put a character like an asterisk (*) image to represent a bullet, but this can be more confusing than simply leaving it blank. And putting the text “bullet” will display it even more strangely in a text browser.

What are you doing in terms of optimizing your images for seo, do you write effective alt text for seo?

  5. I agree, traveling could be the best medicine. It gives you a chance to look at different aspects of life through a different angle. It broadens your views on awareness allowing to excell as individual. I personnaly love to travel and meet new cultures. Learn new ways about approach towards life or share my experiences and wisdom with others. When traveling, you understand how much we share in common with people that live in other countries. One place I trully want to visit is Crete island in Greece. After I saw this place, I fell in love )) Maaaan what a beautiful sight!!!

  6. I totally agree with you, travelling opens your mind in so many ways and you become smarter and more knowledgeable after travelling somewhere new. I think it is amazing that you have been all around Europe. I can’t wait to explore the countries of Europe and absolutely want to see Spain and Austria as well. I love archaeology and history and could spend weeks alone just looking at the ancient ruins and history in one country, yet every country in Europe has such a rich history! This, as well as learning about new cultures really fascinates me. As I type this, I am angered that I can’t hop on a plane this second and go see the rest of the world. I plan to go to Europe as soon as I graduate and I will see you at CSUN this fall and definitely ask your advice on what to see!

I have been to Israel and it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I toured the entire country with a group of students all between the ages of 18-27 when I was 18. I will never forget it. I learned so much, made great friends and had so much fun. I wanted to see more of the area and travel to Europe while I was there but unfortunately I didn’t have the cash for it. If you haven’t been to Israel, I absolutely recommend seeing it one day. There is so much history, the people are very friendly, the country itself is beautiful, and the food is amazing.

  7. I agree with you that everyone should travel and experience different cultures. I have not had the chance to go to as many different places as you have. I would love to though. I always wanted to visit Mexico but it is way too dangerous nowadays to go there. The only other place I have been is the Bahamas I went when I was little on a cruise. I have been to other states though. I went to Florida, New Mexico, Texas and Arizona and of course Nevada.

I really want to go to Brazil next year for the World Cup but my parents pretty much do not want to me to go because of all the stuff they always see on the news. I think this is the reason why I do not like the news so much it scares people into being afraid to travel anyway. Granted there are places that people should not go. Everyone just needs to learn to keep to themselves and not stick out like a sore thumb when they travel. I think that is why people go to the main cities to stay away from the troubles that may lie in the rural areas.
